Rani Padmini’s marriage to Ratan Singh ::
Rani Padmini was very beautiful since childhood, due to which her father was very protective towards her. So Rani Padmini befriended a parrot whose name was Hiramani.
But this friendship became very close. But seeing such intimacy, his father started worrying. That’s why he ordered this parrot to be killed. But the parrot saves his life and flies towards the forest. But there he is caught by a hunter. Then that hunter catches that parrot and sells it to a Brahmin.
Brahmins give that parrot to Raja Ratan Singh of Chittor. The king is very pleased to see the parrot’s activities, that is why he buys the parrot from the brahmin. Then the parrot keeps telling Raja Ratan Singh about the beauty of Rani Padmini, due to which the king has a strong desire to see Rani Padmini.
On hearing about Rani Padmini’s beauty, Raja Ratan Singh is distraught to meet her and when he learns that Rani Padmini’s father has organized a swayamvara for him, he invades the Sinhala kingdom with his 16000 soldiers. Huh.

Raja Ratan Singh was a very good ruler, as well as a patron of the arts. There were many talented people in his court. Among them was a musician Raghav Chetan, who was also a magician. But people did not know about it. Raghav Chetan used to use his magic for evil deeds.
Even once people calling him evil spirits saw him. After this, Raja Ratan Singh humiliated him and threw him out of his kingdom. After that Raghav becomes the enemy of Chetan Ratan Singh. To avenge this enmity, Raghav Chetan goes to seek the help of Sultan Alauddin Khilji of Delhi.
In Delhi, Raghav Chetan stops in a forest, where Alauddin Khilji often accompanied his soldiers for hunting. Once when Sultan Alauddin Khilji along with his army team went for hunting in the jungle, Raghav Chetan makes a melodious tone from the flute, hearing which the king and the rest of the army are stunned that who is playing such a melodious flute in the forest?
The Sultan sends his soldiers to find the man. The soldiers capture Raghav Chetan and present him in Khilji’s court. When Alauddin Khilji listens to the music of that musician Raghav Chetan, he asks him to come to his court.
But Raghav Chetan wanted to take revenge on Raja Ratan Singh, so he instigates Alauddin Khilji and says that why do you want to invite a simple musician like me to your court? When there are so many beautiful things in this world.
Alauddin Khilji could not understand anything. Then Raghav Chetan narrates the beauty of Queen Padmini to Alauddin Khilji. Hearing the story of the queen’s beauty, the Sultan’s lust awakens and he longs to get the queen.
Alauddin Khilji reaches Chittor to see Rani Padmini.
Raghav Alauddin Khilji reaches Chittaur to see Padmavati after hearing Raghav Chetan’s narration of Rani Padmavati’s beauty, where he tells Ratan Singh that he treats the queen as his sister and wants to meet her once.
Ratan Singh agrees. But the queens of Chittor did not show their face in front of any other man, so the queen agrees to show her face in the mirror. When Alauddin Khilji catches a glimpse of Rani Padmavati in the mirror, he is fascinated by her beauty and moves to get her.
He returns to his camp and, seeing the opportunity, takes Ratan Singh as his captive and then demands Rani Padmavati.
Gora and Badal arrive to rescue Raja Ratan Singh.
When the news of Alauddin Khilji’s capture of Ratan Singh reaches Gora and Badal, they leave the fort the next morning with 150 palanquins towards Khilji’s camp. Seeing the palanquins, Ratan Singh felt that perhaps his queen Padmini and other maids were among the palanquins, due to which he felt very humiliated.
But later suddenly all the armed soldiers come out of the palanquin and stole the horse of Alauddin’s Khilji, freeing Ratan Singh and running fast towards the fort on horseback. But in the middle of the fight, the horse is killed but Badal brings Ratan Singh to the fort safely.

When Alauddin Khilji learns that Ratan Singh has come out of his captivity. Then he gets angry and sets out to attack Chittor with his armies. Sultan’s soldiers try to enter the fort but they fail.
After which the Sultan’s soldiers lay siege around the fort, after which in the end Ratan Singh has to open the gate of the fort and then fight with Ratan Singh. But while fighting Ratan Singh is killed in the end.
When Rani Padmini and the rest of the maids learn about the king’s death, they feel that now all the men of Chittor will be killed by the Sultan’s soldiers and the women there will have to enslave them. That is why now these queens and maids are left with only two options, either they commit Jauhar or bear the humiliation of the Sultan.
Rani Padmini commits Jauhar to save her eyebrows
When the women of Chittor were left with only two options like committing Jauhar or to bear the humiliation of the Sultan, then they thought it right to commit Jauhar to save their pride. The queen and all the other women light the huge pyre and jump in joy in the fire pit.
When the rest of the men of Chittor come to know about this, they feel that they have no purpose to live anymore, so they put on kesari robes and turbans and face Alauddin Khilji’s soldiers till their death.
Finally, when Alauddin Khilji wins and enters the fort, there is nothing left except fire and burnt bones. In this way the women of Chittor set a great example by jumping into the fire pit to save their pride. Even today the people of Chittor proudly remember the sacrifice of those women.
