Jyeshtha 2021 :: Jyeshtha month is going to start from 22 May 2021. Which according to Hindu calendar is considered to be the third month of the year. Jyeshtha month is also known as the month of Jeth. This month is also called the month of summer. Let’s know about the fast and important days of Jyeshtha month-

Jyestha Month: In the month of Jyestha, the form of the sun is seen in the form of the sun. There is a lot of increase in temperature. Earth starts heating up and animals and birds get distraught. Narada Jayanti :: Jyeshtha month is starting with Narada Jayanti. Narada Jayanti is on 22 May 2021.

Sankashti Chaturthi :: This fast is falling on May 29. On this day, Ganesha is worshiped by observing a fast. There are two Chaturthi in every lunar month in the Hindu calendar. The Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha that comes after the full moon is called Sankashti Chaturthi.

Mohini Ekadashi :: Apara Ekadashi is on 22 May. It is also known as Achala Ekadashi. On this day, Lord Vishnu is worshiped by observing a fast. Special worship is done on this day for happiness and prosperity.

Pradosha fast :: Pradosha fast is on 8th and 24th May. Lord Shiva is pleased on this day. Shiva devotees keep a fast on this day and worship Lord Shiva during the evening of Pradosh.

Jyesht Amavasya :: Jyesht is Amavasya on 26 May. Fathers are pleased on this day. Lord Shiva is worshiped. There is also a law for donation on this day.

Shani Jayanti :: Shani Jayanti is also on 10 June. Lord Shani is worshiped on this day. This day is said to be very special for those who are walking on Saturn’s half-and-half and dhayya. By pleasing Shani Dev on this day, Saturn’s inauspiciousness is removed.

Vat Savitri fast :: This fast is also on 10 June. According to mythological beliefs, married women observe a fast on this day for the long life of their husbands.

Mahesh Navami :: This festival is falling on June 19. Mahesh Navami is celebrated every year on the Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in Jyeshtha month. Lord Shiva is specially worshiped on this day.

Ganga Dussehra :: This holy festival is falling on 20 June. Ganga Dussehra comes on the tenth day of the Shukla Paksha of Jyestha month. It is believed that Ganga descended on earth on this day, pleased with the penance of King Bhagirath. This festival is celebrated one day before Nirjala Ekadashi.

Nirjala Ekadashi :: Nirjala Ekadashi is considered special in all Ekadashi. It is considered a difficult fast. Shukla Paksha Ekadashi date in Jyestha month is known as Nirjala Ekadashi and Bhimseni Ekadashi. In this fast, fasting without water has to be completed. This fast will be observed on 21 June.

Gayatri Jayanti :: This festival will be celebrated on 21 June. On this day, the birth anniversary of mother Gayatri is celebrated.
