Nikhat Zareen’s Early Life
Nikhat Zareen was born on 14 June 1996 in Nizamabad district in the eastern southern state of Telangana, India. His mother’s name is Parveen Sultan. Father’s name is Mohammad Jameel Ahmed, he himself has also been a player. Nikhat Zareen has an uncle, whose name is Shamshamuddin and it was he who introduced Zareen to the world of boxing.
Zareen started boxing at the age of 13. His uncle Shamshamuddin used to give boxing training to his sons, seeing him, Zareen also developed an interest in learning boxing. On the day Zareen’s enthusiasm for boxing, her uncle started coaching her too. Zareen considers famous boxer MC Mary Kom as her role model.
Nikhat Zareen told in one of her interviews that her mother was always worried about her decision to go to the field of boxing. But his father and his uncle helped him a lot in pursuing him and because of him he got encouragement.
Nikhat Zareen’s Education
Nikhat Zareen did his early education from the primary school of his district Nizamabad. After that in 2015, he took his bachelor’s degree from AV College, Hyderabad. By the same time she became the best boxer by participating in the All India Inter University Boxing Championship held in Jalandhar.
Zareen told in her interview that it used to be a bit difficult for her to study and manage boxing tournaments simultaneously in the initial times. But it was fortunate that she got a lot of support from her friends.
His classmates used to help him a lot in studies and shared notes with him. After giving his board exams, he focused his full attention on his boxing career.
Achievements of Nikhat Zareen

In 2009, Zareen joined the Sports Authority of Visakhapatnam, where she trained under Dronacharya awardee Ivy Rao. In 2010, at the age of 14, Nikhat Zareen won the gold medal at the Erode National and was declared the best boxer.
A year later, in the 2011 Women’s Junior and Youth World Boxing Championships held in Turkey, she competed against boxer Ulku Demir in the flight division with a score of 27:19 and won the gold medal after three rounds.
In 2014, she won the gold medal by defeating Paltseva Ekaterina of Russia in the 51 kg category in the 3rd Nations Cup International Boxing Tournament held in IX Sand, Serbia.
After 1 year of this, in 2019, in the Strandja Memorial Boxing Tournament held in Sofia, Bulgaria, he won the gold medal by defeating Irish Magno of the Philippines in the 51 kg category. In the same year, Zareen was declared the best boxer in the Junior National tournament.
