Purified, Distilled, Mineral Water are packaged water types, but do you know the difference between them?
You will definitely buy a bottle of water while traveling or eating outside. Purified Water is written on a bottle, Distilled Water on some, Spring Water and Mineral Water on some. But do you know what is the difference in all this?
There is no need to be confused by reading these labels, we tell in simple terms what all these mean and what is the difference between them.
Purified Water ::
You will see it written mostly on packed water bottles. This water is cleared by processes such as Reverse Osmosis.

Distilled Water ::
This is cleared by distillation. This is one of the oldest methods of clearing water. The water is boiled in it and the fresh water obtained after cooling the steam is filled in bottles. This water is 100% pure and safe.
Spring Water ::
It is the water of a spring or any natural underground source. It is considered more natural than tap water.
Mineral Water ::
Elements like Calcium, Potassium and Iron are dissolved in this water. When 250 PPM (Parts-Per-Million) mineral is dissolved in bottled water, it is called mineral water.
The quality of packaged water is different in every company. You can choose it according to your need.
