A fundamentalist resident of Macedonia, who described himself as a sympathizer of the notorious terrorist organization Islamic State, attacked people near a Synagogue (Jewish worship) in Vienna on Monday evening.
A 20-year-old young man named Kuztim Fejulai, who had also spent some time in jail, indiscriminately firing 4 people to death in a busy area of Vienna with his Kalashnikov rifle. After this, the security personnel immediately took action and killed Fejulai. On Tuesday, the Islamic State, through its news agency Amak, claimed responsibility for these terror attacks and named Faizulai as Abu Dagnah al-Albani. The Islamic State called the attacker ‘a soldier of the Khilafat’.
Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has called on the European Union to take joint action to deal with it, calling it ‘political Islam’. He said that this radical Islamic ideology posed a threat to the European way of life model. Police from neighboring country Switzerland have arrested 2 people in connection with this attack.

Police said that the terrorist wore a fake terrestor belt and posted a picture on his computer in which he was carrying an automatic rifle and a dagger. These weapons, seen in the photo, were used during the attack.

The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which was signed in 1961, provides immunity to diplomats from all member states.
