Friends, if we have any such disease, due to which the amount of blood in our body decreases or many times there is a lack of blood in our body due to excessive bleeding even after getting injured in an accident. Apart from this, there is also a lack of blood in diseases like anemia and doctors ask such medicines and such food to increase the amount of blood in the body.

Friends, blood groups are classified on the basis of the presence or absence of genetic antigen present on the surface of red blood cells, also called RBCs. Some other types of elements, such as proteins, carbohydrates, glycoproteins or glycolipids, form the basis of the blood group system.

Most of the red blood cells that are closely related to the power of the red blood cells arise from them and collectively form a blood group system. Friends, which group your blood will be, it depends on the inheritance. The type of blood group in the baby depends on the contribution of both the mother and the father.

It is not necessary that your blood group will be same from your father’s or your mother’s blood group. So far, a total of 30 human blood group systems have been identified by the International Society, the ISBT. It often happens that the blood group of the child does not match with the blood group of the mother. The mother can make antibodies unlike normal red blood cells.

How many types of blood groups are there?

Friends, the determination of what our blood group will be depends on the genes we get from our parents. Friends, in these four blood groups, each blood group is RhD (RhD +) and RhD negative (RhD -). i.e. in A(A) blood group your blood group can be A positive or negative, B can be B(B) positive or B negative AB(AB) I can be AB negative or AB positive and O(O) I can also be o positive or negative. That is, in total it can be said that there are total 8 types of blood group. The following are the eight types of blood groups ie blood groups-

  1. A rhd positive A±
  2. A rhd negative A-
  3. B rhd positive B+
  4. B rhd negative B-
  5. AB rhd positive AB+
  6. AB rhd negative AB-
  7. O rhd positive O+

A person with A b plus blood group can donate blood only to a person with AB plus blood group and it can take blood from any blood group person.

  1. AB rhd negative AB-

  1. O rhd negative O-

You don’t have either A or both antigens on your red cells even if you are of O- blood group, and both antibodies are found in plasma. A person with O negative blood group can donate blood to a person of any blood group but can take blood only from a person with O negative blood group.

Friends, out of these eight blood groups, O- ie ORHD negative blood group is called universal blood donor, that is, a person of this blood group can donate blood to a person of any other blood group. And AB + ie AB RhD positive blood group is called universal acceptor. The body of a person of AB + blood group accepts blood of any other blood group.

Why is it important to know blood group?

Friends, when there is a lack of blood in someone’s body, blood is taken from the blood bank and offered to that person. Apart from this, any other person can also donate his blood for that particular person and give his blood to him. But no person can give his blood to any person just like that. That person’s body accepts blood of that person’s blood group only. The blood group of every person is not the same. The blood group is determined by the medical examination of the blood.
