Based on scientific research, no effective way to prevent breast cancer has been found so far. This is still the subject of research. Studies by the American Cancer Society suggest that adding fruits, vegetables and calcium-rich dairy products to the diet may reduce the risk of breast cancer. But so far it is not clear that the consumption of which fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Apart from this, scientific research has found that the risk of breast cancer is reduced by the consumption of soy products.

A study by the American Cancer Society found that “at least 18% of cancer patients had excess body weight, physical inactivity, high alcohol intake and high processed food intake.”

Overall, no concrete information has been received so far for the prevention of breast cancer.

Which women may be at higher risk of breast cancer:

Women whose menstruation starts from 12 years and ends after 55 years of age. They are more likely to suffer from breast cancer.

Women who smoke, consume alcohol before becoming pregnant for the first time are more prone to breast cancer.

Women who have a family history of breast cancer in their mother, sister, grandmother are also at risk of developing breast cancer.

Women who are not breast-feeding, post-menopausal women taking hormonal therapy and women using birth control pills may have a higher risk of breast cancer.

The following are suggested by the American Cancer Society to prevent breast cancer:

Post-menopausal women being overweight or having abnormally increased weight can raise the possibility of breast cancer. Therefore, if there is abnormal weight gain, consult a doctor. Apart from this, control body weight after menopause.

The child should be breastfed compulsorily. Apart from this, hormonal therapy should be avoided to reduce the effects on the body after menopause. Contraceptive medicine should not be taken in excess.

To prevent breast cancer, it is necessary to have mammography once a year from the age of 35. This will allow early symptoms to be detected and treatment to control breast cancer.

More and more green vegetables, fruits, soy products and calcium-rich dairy products should be included in the diet. Processed food, junk food, red meat consumption should be avoided especially in the growing age.

Alcohol, tobacco, smoking should not be done and the most important thing is to do regular exercise so that body weight is controlled.

Adopting all the above healthy habits will prevent the prevention of breast cancer, it cannot be said with certainty, but it is sure to prevent from fatal diseases like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure etc.
